Texas Tornadoes kill at least 11 People

The weather in Texas has been unpredictable over the last couple days.  On Sunday, December 27, 2015 at least 11 people died and dozens were injured in violently strong tornadoes that swept through Garland, Texas and the Dallas area.  this was the latest of a series of unseasonable weather events happening across the country and Texas.

The full extent of destruction in Dallas, TX spans a 40 mile stretch.  Reports indicate storms and tornadoes blowing and mangling vehicles, downing powers lines, causing flash flooding, blowing roofs off Texas homes and Texas buildings and is to blame for an extensive amount of damage.

According to Bluffton Today, a spokesman for the National Weather Service, Matt Bishop, says that tornadoes in this part of North Texas in late December are not unheard of but, are definitely not considered the “normal” weather pattern.
