What is SR22 Insurance?

Minnesota SR22 Insurance Requirement
The state of Minnesota requires all drivers to carry liability insurance with limits 30/60/10
$30,000 for bodily injury to 1 person
$60,000 for bodily injury to 2 or more people
$10,000 for property damage
$40,000 PIP ( personal injury protection)
$25,000 for uninsured / underinsured motorist bodily injury
$50,000 for uninsured / underinsured motorist bodily injury
Types of Minnesota SR22 Insurance
1) Auto Owner policy – which is a standard auto insurance policy that covers a driver on their own personal vehicle.
2) Non-owner or Operator policy – is an auto insurance policy which gives liability coverage to a driver when driving vehicles that they don’t own. Non-owner policies cost far less and carry significantly lower premiums, while still meeting SR22 requirements.
